Explaining Spooky2's baseline button for biofeedback

The Baseline button in the Control tab of Spooky2 is used in biofeedback scans to establish a reference point before the actual scan begins. It measures the body's natural electrical state without any applied frequencies to determine a baseline value.

Why is the Baseline Important?
  1. Eliminates Background Noise – It helps differentiate normal electrical fluctuations in your body from actual reactions to frequencies.
  2. Increases Scan Accuracy – By knowing the baseline, the software can detect which frequency responses stand out as significant.
  3. Personalized to Each Session – Since the body's conductivity can change based on hydration, stress, or other factors, setting a new baseline for each scan ensures more precise results.
How to Use the Baseline Button:
  • When starting a GX biofeedback scan, Spooky2 will first record a baseline reading before testing frequencies.
  • You do not need to manually press the button unless you want to manually reset the baseline before starting a scan.
  • The baseline phase usually lasts a few seconds before the scan proceeds to testing frequencies.

By setting a proper baseline, Spooky2 can more accurately identify which frequencies produce the strongest reactions, leading to better-targeted treatments.

No use for Spooky2 Sample Digitizer :

 The Baseline function is mainly used for biofeedback scans with TENS pads or hand cylinders, where the generator measures electrical conductivity through the body.

However, when using the Spooky2 Sample Digitizer, the Baseline button is NOT used or needed because:

  1. The Sample Digitizer does not measure electrical conductivity through the body. Instead, it analyzes biological samples (such as blood, saliva, or urine) using frequency resonance.
  2. Unlike contact mode scans, there is no variable body resistance to account for, so there’s no need to establish a baseline before scanning.
  3. Sample Digitizer scans work by detecting frequency responses directly from the sample, and the software automatically processes the data without requiring a baseline reference.

So in short, the Baseline button is irrelevant for Sample Digitizer scans, and the system does not use it in that context.
